Also it is used to reduce the excess stomach acid. This exercise aims to study the behavior of hydrogen carbonate ions HCO in water, as well as to determine the percentage by mass (degree of purity) of NaHCO in a sample of medicinal sodium bicarbonate. Given: - Ionic compounds NaHCO and Na CO are solids highly soluble in water. [CO ] %(bymol)co -.
